milan events did an amazing job creating such a magical atmosphere at the flagler ballroom of casa for this classic and whimsical wedding with white and small touches of light blue and tons of candlelight (planner’s note: dimming the lighting of a ballroom goes a long, long way, and so does some uplighting!)
dj sanaris and samantha rise’s band were the perfect fusion for this event, starting the cocktail hour with some jazz classics and transitioning to some contemporary tunes to wrap up with a live version of “kiss me” for liz and liam’s first dance.
dani parada outdid herself with this amazing gallery and working around the weather: she replaced all outdoor photos with amazing indoor locations (the corridors, the arches, the new canary room are a must for photos at casa marina!)

Amanda and Austin Said I Do at the Splendid Casa Marina Resort under November Skies in The Florida Keys.
amanda and austin said yes at the casa marina resort in key west, which has recently been renovated showing a contemporary style and the comfort of large and luxurious guestrooms and suites, yet preserving its historic character that allows its guest to experience the Old Key west.
amanda’s wedding was curated to the very last detail, from a lovely key west themed card box from blue thistle studio and custom made matchboxes to elaborate stationery decorated at each guest table with shells personally collected by the bride and groom.
the white and green classic style ceremony took place at the east beach of the resort and was followed by a cocktail hour and a dinner reception at the grand ballroom and its patio.
the golden hour photos from this november afternoon wedding are just stunning! after the first dance as husband and wife, amanda changed into a fun second outfit and her iconic ‘til death’ wedding gloves.
the wedding reception ended with a super fun fiber optic wands send off in the water walkway, and the party continued on Duval Street.

keri was a joy to work with, always positive, always in a great mood. keri and bryce’s goal was to make not just the wedding day but the entire weekend an unforgettable experience for their closest friends and family, which is why we worked around a very relaxed and flexible timeline.
the day before the wedding we met for a quick ceremony rehearsal and then everyone enjoyed sunset and dinner at the very popular lorelei restaurant, just a few steps away from the islander resort.
the weather on the wedding day was absolutely spectacular. iris moore, our photographer, took the couple and their bridal party all around the resort and got amazing shots.
after a quick ceremony, all guests enjoyed cocktail hour by the water while the newlyweds went over to the islander pier to watch the sunset and have a moment to themselves. our videographer che andre brought his drone and had some fun taking some aerial footage.
the entire floral and tableware design was brought to life by table seven. rose gold chairs, black silverware and wine glasses were some of the accents that made the reception look so unique.
the rest of the night unfolded flawlessly thanks to our dj scott gerke who kept the crowd entertained until the end. but the night wasn’t over and the bridal party decided to continue the party by jumping in the pool with their dresses and suits on.

sam chose minimal center pieces with tropical flowers in pink, red, green and yellow colors. gold silverware, green glassware and some neutral gauze napkins and runners matched the iconic first flight building to perfection. the tropical theme was also incorporated with the cutest acrylic palm leaf place cards made by Kayla from blue thistle studio.
my favorite part of the wedding was the ceremony, where eric not only exchanged rings with his bride but also with their children Charlee and anthony to symbolize the union of their beautiful family.
during cocktail hour, sam and eric snuck out of the venue to watch the sunset at mallory square - you do not want to miss these photos!
the evening flowed perfectly and sam changed into the most adorable mini sequins bridal dress to dance the night away. we wrapped up the party with a huge sparkler exit - success!

FOOD AND BEVERAGES WERE PROVIDED BY CATERED AFFAIRS OF KEY WEST AND, AS ALWAYS, THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB.

The newlyweds treated their 150 guests to a lovely evening filled with amazing food, fun music and great energy. fort zachary is one of our most unique outdoor venues: a beach located at the point where the Atlantic meets the gulf of mexico that offers the most incredible sunsets.
as for decor and design, gretchen went for a fresh combination of tropical and boho styles that blended effortlessly with the one-of-a-kind vegetation of the park. a clear tent, classic white draping, boho lanterns, twinkle lights everywhere, and fun lounge areas created the most perfect ambiance for this event.
gretchen, michael and their families still come to visit the keys on a regular basis and my lovely bride and i had the chance to meet not too long ago and catch up. she is still over the moon about her big day!

All design and timeline details incorporated into their big day were full of meaning and thoroughly thought of.
The color palette of the entire event came up from the pink shoes Liz fell in love with a little bit after getting engaged, and this led to the oh-so-whimsical ceremony and reception decor ideas: hot pink and white flowers everywhere, gold feathers, colorful glassware, bird-shaped place cards, fun welcome drinks in bird shaped glasses (why not?), and the most adorable tablecloths from Ceci New York’s collection.
The night ended with an amazing champagne tower, change of outfits and a brass band that escorted all guests down Duval Street.
Absolutely in love with Liz’s wedding design and extremely grateful for the amazing team of vendors who worked so hard to put everything together!
