This was truly a wedding to dream of! Working with Emily, Dylan, and their families was an absolute pleasure, and planning their wedding at the beautiful Casa Marina Resort in Key West made the experience even more special.

We began the planning process approximately fourteen months before the wedding, which, in my opinion, is an ideal timeline for planning a destination wedding. It gave us the opportunity to thoughtfully work through every detail while still enjoying the process along the way.

Emily and Dylan were able to visit us in the Florida Keys several times throughout the planning process, allowing us to schedule in-person consultations, meet with their vendors, and carefully bring their vision together. One thing I always emphasize is the importance of putting together a strong, experienced vendor team. Having the right professionals working together makes all the difference in creating a seamless wedding day.

For Emily and Dylan, the vision was timeless elegance. We designed a celebration centered around a soft palette of greens and whites, incorporating lush floral arrangements, romantic candlelight, and carefully selected details that complemented the natural beauty of Casa Marina.

Their ceremony took place directly on the sand, with the ocean providing the most beautiful backdrop. Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the iconic Flagler Lawn, where we transformed the space into an elegant outdoor reception. Crystal chandeliers, delicate string lighting, and thoughtfully designed tablescapes created a romantic atmosphere while still embracing the tropical surroundings of Key West.

One of the things I love most about planning weddings at Casa Marina is the versatility of the property. Each event space offers something completely different, giving us so many opportunities to create a celebration that truly reflects each couple's vision.

The beach is a beautiful setting for an oceanfront ceremony or an intimate reception. The Flagler Lawn provides a spacious, open canvas that allows us to get creative with different layouts and design concepts. It can also accommodate a tent, offering additional possibilities for couples looking to create a more elaborate reception atmosphere.

For those who prefer a more traditional setting, Casa Marina's beautiful ballrooms, with their classic hardwood floors, provide an elegant indoor alternative. They're also an excellent option for a weather backup or for weddings taking place during the warmer months in the Florida Keys.

For Emily and Dylan, we were able to embrace the best of the resort's outdoor spaces, creating a celebration that felt timeless, romantic, and perfectly suited to the destination.

Weddings like this are a wonderful reminder of why I love what I do. From the first planning conversations to seeing every detail come together on the wedding day, it's incredibly rewarding to create an experience that feels so personal to the couple and their families.
